Multi Function Family Office

This room was originally an underutilized guest room. As the Pandemic forced the world into new work and school routines, this family decided to maximize their space. For a year the family was riding it out the new arrangements in a makeshift way, thinking the situation was short term and temporary. As time passed, working from home became a permanent change for the mother. The child had developed a growing interest in legos that needed to be organized and contained in a dedicated building space, and the husband who mostly works outside of the house, needed part-time flexible office space. The family wanted the ability to accommodate their different work needs and schedules while also maintaining the ability to host an extra guest when needed. So was born the concept of the family office. One they all share and that can flex to future needs.
